Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Buckingham is seeking an experienced Quality Systems Engineer to develop, maintain and improve the Business Management System (BMS) and Quality Management System. The role focuses on audits, compliance and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

You will drive corrective actions, manage warranty performance and mentor supplier quality teams while ensuring adherence to automotive standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of quality systems such as IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3.
• Experience with ISO9001 and Health & Safety regulations.
• Experience with automotive quality tools such as PPAP, 8D, SPC, KPI, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans.
• Experience in problem solving, report management, visual management, training and escalation management.
• Documentation management and BMS deliverables experience.
• Automotive regulatory requirements and manufacturing environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Business Management System (BMS).
• Plan, manage and lead internal audits, process audits, product audits and external certifications and customer audits.
• Manage audit schedules and ensure actions are completed.
• Drive corrective actions through the CAR process.
• Ensure compliance with automotive customer requirements and industry standards.
• Manage warranty performance, warranty claims and debit note closure.
• Support supplier audit programmes and mentor Supplier Quality teams.
• Support IMDS submissions.
