Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager to deliver BMS and controls projects across the Midlands. You will coordinate engineering teams, manage client relationships, budgets and ensure safety and quality from design to handover.

The role offers £65,000 - £75,000 with bonus up to 20%, company car/allowance, remote working, healthcare and pension. A technically strong and commercially aware professional with full UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing BMS / Building Automation projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC controls and BMS systems.
• Experience delivering projects in commercial buildings, healthcare, data centres, industrial or critical environments.
• Ability to manage project budgets and timelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple BMS projects from inception through to completion.
• Coordinate planning, resource allocation and programme management.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Oversee procurement of materials and subcontract services.
• Monitor costs, variations and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures.
• Support commissioning activities and client handovers.
• Attend progress meetings and provide updates.
• Review specifications, drawings and control strategies.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and delivery challenges.
• Maintain strong customer relationships to support repeat business.

An established and growing building automation specialist is seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of BMS and controls projects across the Midlands region. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially aware professional to manage projects from initial design through to commissioning and client handover.

The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating engineering teams, managing client relationships, controlling project budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities
