Job description

Equans is looking for a Project Manager to join our Digital Business on a permanent, full-time basis to deliver critical system upgrades and improvements to the Building Management System (BMS) Infrastructure for clients in the UK.

The role involves leading projects that aim to make sites Smart enabled, enabling further value through IoT solutions, with projects ranging from £1k to £3m, and managing multiple projects over a 3-4 year rolling program.

Key activities include:

  • Leading delivery of BMS infrastructure upgrades across various sectors nationwide.
  • Providing leadership, guidance, and coaching to project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Engaging with multiple stakeholders and acting as the key client and end-user point of escalation.
  • Managing project risks, issues, and change processes.
  • Developing communication channels with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ensuring compliance with data legislation and standards.
  • Applying industry best practices for project management.
  • Managing contracts, variations, and scope.
  • Possessing recognized project management and construction qualifications.
