Overview

Project Engineer - Building Management Systems (BMS) | London and South East

We're looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading player in the Smart Buildings & BMS industry. You'll be responsible for delivering multiple projects from design through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and engineer multiple concurrent BMS projects across London, working closely with clients, building long-term relationships and ensuring full satisfaction.
  • Produce and submit technical documentation, equipment selections, and system operation descriptions.
  • Coordinate project resources, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee project health & safety documentation and compliance whilst maintaining financial control of projects - P&L responsibility, invoicing, variations, and supplier negotiations.
  • Ensure projects are fully documented, handed over, and reviewed post-completion.
What We\'re Looking For
  • 5+ years\' experience in a technical role within the BMS sector.
  • Strong knowledge of building services and control systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Commercial awareness - P&L, contract management, and cash flow.
  • Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering quality results.
