BMS Engineer – Cambridge – £55,000
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £55,000 + Plenty of Overtime
Hours: Days Monday to Friday
Our client is seeking a BMS Engineer to join their team at a Critical Environment in Cambridge. The role offers a salary of £55,000, overtime, pension, and career stability. The engineer will manage and maintain the site BMS system (JCI Metasys), with full training provided. The candidate should be highly computer literate and experienced with electrical systems.

Duties:
- Coordinate technical queries from site teams.
- Perform reactive maintenance and PPMs on the BMS system.
- Provide technical support for the BMS system across operations.
- Ensure the BMS system is fully operational.
- Assist with technical and operational issues for site teams.
- Support BMS strategy development as needed.
- Maintain the Networked BMS System.
- Manage BMS license issues.
- Control access to the BMS System.
- Communicate effectively with customers to develop service quality.
- Promote team culture through collaboration with colleagues and subcontractors.
- Use handheld PDAs for recording work.
Requirements:
- Experience in electrical work and operating BMS systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for communication at all levels.
- Thorough knowledge of building services, especially HVAC.
- Experience in fault finding across systems.
- Proven technical experience.
- Knowledge of BMS systems.
