Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking a Building Management Systems (BMS) Manager to lead the delivery of BMS across multiple Regional Buildings projects. You will manage design development, coordination and technical assurance, ensuring integration with HVAC, lighting and energy management systems for optimal performance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, consultants and project teams, plus overseeing commissioning, testing and handover.

Qualifications

Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering or related discipline.
Professional accreditation or membership of a relevant engineering institution desirable.
Proven experience in BMS design and building automation systems.

Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of Building Management Systems across multiple Regional Buildings projects.
Manage BMS design development, coordination and technical assurance activities.
Collaborate with clients, consultants, supply chain partners and project teams.
Oversee BMS commissioning, testing and handover processes.
Ensure integration with HVAC, lighting, energy management, security and life safety systems.
Support digital building strategies, smart building initiatives and sustainability objectives.
