BMS Commissioning Manager – £70,000 – M4 Corridor

I am currently representing a large BMS business that creates tailor-made energy-efficient solutions designed to reduce energy usage. Working with a wide range of clients, due to growth, our client is looking for a BMS Commissioning Manager to join their team.

Salary and Package:

  • £60,000 - £70,000
  • Company car allowance or car
  • Bonus scheme

  • 25 days holiday

Areas of Cover:

  • M3 – M4 Corridor

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading commissioning and testing teams on-site.
  • Developing and managing the project commissioning schedule.
  • Managing commissioning documentation and processes.
  • Reporting progress internally and to clients.
  • Managing subcontractor commissioning activities.
  • Conducting site inspections and ensuring quality control.
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently.
  • Overseeing site health and safety during commissioning.
  • Supporting project handover and documentation processes.

Requirements:

  • Relevant technical qualification: ONC, HND, or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
  • Proven experience in commissioning management within mechanical and/or electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in live critical environments such as data centres, pharmaceutical facilities, laboratories, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory requirements, construction methods, and engineering processes within the construction and engineering industries.
  • Holder of a valid CSCS card appropriate to the role.
  • Certification in IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS (CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
