Office Owls Recruitment Limited is working with a nationwide facilities and building maintenance business to recruit a BEMS/BMS Commissioning Engineer. The role covers commissioning, testing and fault-finding across commercial and industrial projects within the UK.

The position offers a permanent, on-site role with a salary of £55,000–£60,000, plus a company vehicle or allowance, overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' BMS commissioning experience.
• Strong HVAC and controls knowledge.
• Experience with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and/or Cylon.
• Good understanding of BMS networking and communications.
• Good client-facing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Commission and test BEMS/BMS systems from installation through to handover.
• Carry out point-to-point, I/O and functional testing.
• Commission HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, boilers, chillers, pumps and VAV systems.
• Configure and fault-find BMS controllers and field devices.
• Work with Siemens, Tridium Niagara and Cylon platforms.
• Work with BACnet, Modbus and other BMS communication protocols.
• Review drawings, points lists and control strategies.
• Complete commissioning documentation and client handovers.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and project teams.
