Job summary

Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer for data centre projects in the Slough area. You will commission and install BMS, perform functional testing, and develop control strategies to meet project specifications.

The role requires strong fault-finding skills, ability to read control schematics and wiring diagrams, and familiarity with Schneider EcoStruxure or Trend BMS platforms. A CSCS card and full UK driving licence are preferred.

BMS Commissioning Engineer - Data Centres

£55,000-£65,000 + Bonus up to 25% + Pension + Car/Allowance + Overtime + Benefits

We're looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to work on data centre projects across the Slough, West Drayton and Hayes areas, commissioning and delivering building control systems within critical environments.

The role:

• Commissioning and installing BMS across data centre projects


• Functional testing and verification of BMS components and software


• Developing control strategies, software and system configurations


• Producing DOPs, plant and point schedules, and network designs


• Fault finding and resolving technical issues during commissioning


• Working closely with project managers, engineers and clients


• Managing and delivering small to medium-sized projects


• Ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification


• Reading panel wiring diagrams and control schematics

Looking for:

• Proven BMS Commissioning Engineering experience


• Strong Schneider EcoStruxure or Trend BMS experience


• Knowledge of BMS control strategy design and software engineering


• Good understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical plant


• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills


• Ability to read control schematics and wiring diagrams


• Experience with Tridium or ALC would be beneficial


• Data centre experience advantageous


• CSCS card or equivalent


• Full UK driving licence


• Based within commuting distance of Slough, West Drayton or Hayes

The package:

• £55,000-£65,000 basic salary
