Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Limited is seeking a BMS Commissioning Engineer to lead the commissioning of data centre and pharma-focused projects across the UK and Nordic regions. The role requires hands-on testing, wiring mods, and driving commissioning schedules in collaboration with site teams.

You will work with Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Siemens and Niagara BMS platforms, bring HVAC knowledge to project delivery, and travel as needed with full travel and accommodation covered when away.

Qualifications

• Proven experience commissioning BMS projects in a similar setting.
• Strong understanding of software/graphics in BMS context.
• Hands-on knowledge of Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Siemens and Niagara systems.
• HVAC systems knowledge and customer-facing delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall project commissioning and align with programme.
• Perform field checks, terminations, panel and wiring modifications.
• Commission BMS control systems (Trend, Tridium, etc.).
• Travel across UK and occasionally to Nordic/Europe.

BMS Commissioning - Data Centres

Alecto Recruitment is working closely with our client who is an established and reputable specialist within building energy management systems (BEMS).

This is a superb opportunity within their special projects division which focuses on Data Centre & Pharmaceutical projects in the UK & Nordics.

Due to the divisions continued success, they are currently recruiting for a BMS Commissioning Engineer.

The Role:

The position will involve an amount of travel but this can be tailored to suit you and also align to the businesses requirements.

• Responsible for the overall commissioning of the projects and ensuring the project is delivered in line with the programme of works and intended design
• Responsible for carrying out field point to point checks, terminations, panel and wiring mods
• Commissioning various BMS Control systems (Trend, Tridium or others)
• Covering various sites across the UK along with occasional travel to Nordic and European countries.

Requirements:

• We are seeking an experienced BMS Commissioning engineer
• You will need to have a good understanding around software, graphics
• Experience with BMS Systems such as: Trend, Tridium, Schneider, Siemens etc
• Knowledge of Niagara based systems
• Knowledgeable of HVAC Systems and plant
• Customer facing and experienced in project delivery

Salary:

• £55,000 - £65,000
