Job summary

RBC BlueBay invites applications for a Manager, RFP Writer in London. You will produce high-quality RFPs, DDQs and related materials to support client service and business development across RBC BlueBay products.

This permanent, full-time role sits in our London office with a hybrid pattern: four days in the office and one day remote per week. You will collaborate with experts globally to develop compelling content and ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in an RFP role or directly related business function.
• Educated to degree level (or comparable technical experience), with advanced knowledge and understanding of industry products, practices.
• Demonstrable ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
• Good technical knowledge and commitment to learning.
• Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively with high levels of activity and changing priorities, with commercial awareness.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure, making decisions and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Write complex RFPs and respond to due diligence questionnaires, drafting comprehensive responses across RBC BlueBay products.
• Liaise with subject matter experts across the firm globally to develop new materials and content.
• Maintain and manage content in the RFP team's database, RocketDocs.
• Maintain and enhance static ESG data sources.
• Participate in team initiatives and special projects as required.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business development and client service objectives.
• Ensure all responses are accurate, comprehensive and aligned with RBC BlueBay's guidelines and procedures.
• Support the continuous improvement of RFP processes and materials.

What is the opportunity?

You will be a Manager, RFP Writer responsible for the production of high-quality RFPs, DDQs and other materials required to support client service and business development efforts across RBC BlueBay products.

This role is varied, with opportunity to work across multiple asset classes. We are looking for someone with previous experience in an RFP role, or someone with directly transferable skills e.g. investment writing who is eager to build on their RFP experience.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in our London office, requiring 4 days in the office and 1 day remote per week.

What will you do?

• Write complex RFPs and respond to due diligence questionnaires, drafting comprehensive responses to ad hoc requests across all RBC BlueBay products, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Liaise with subject matter experts across the firm globally to develop new materials and content
• Maintain and manage content in the RFP team's database, RocketDocs
• Maintain and enhance static ESG data sources
• Participate in team initiatives and special projects as required
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business development and client service objectives
