Job description

BLUE CPCS Hoist Operator - Birmingham

O'Neill & Brennan is currently looking for a Hoist Operator to start work on a busy construction site in Birmingham. The location of the project is easily accessible by public transport.

Working hours are from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Bank holidays may have different hours, which will be confirmed on site.

Candidates must have a valid BLUE CPCS card.

The operative will need to be hands-on and involved in lifting and moving waste. Involvement is KEY.

Hoist Operator duties:

• Operate either passenger or materials hoist.
• Keep platforms clear of materials.
• Load and unload the hoist.
• Ensure the hoist is safely secured before and at the end of each shift.
• Carry out daily checks on the hoist's working order.
