Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland has a Blow Moulding Technician vacancy in Severnside. The role focuses on operating the blow moulding line efficiently while upholding health, safety, quality and housekeeping standards. This is a full-time permanent position with 4 on/4 off shifts (2 days and 2 nights).

You will be expected to fault-find, adjust settings, and support maintenance and engineering teams to minimise downtime. A strong team player with manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Operate blow moulding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow H&S policies and site procedures.
• Meet output targets during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Effective operation of blow moulding equipment
• Full adherence to all H&S policies and procedures/follow all safe systems of work
• Ensure full compliance to site accreditation standards for allocated area
• Fault finding using I/O listings on screens
• Follow correct adjustment procedures
• Sustain all set-ups to required standard for optimum performance
• Carry out pre and post maintenance operational checks
• Monitor and record machine conditions
• Support engineering team with machine maintenance or breakdowns
• Assist colleagues with bottlenecks/problem solving
• Adapt to changing priorities as determined by customer requirements
