Job summary

Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller seeks an Engineering Technician for the Blow Moulding line at Severnside Dairy. You will perform frontline reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and restore equipment swiftly while proposing cost‑effective improvements to assets and reliability.

This permanent 4 on 4 off shift role rotates days and nights. You will lead short‑term problem solving, coach operators, and use CMMS data and 5S practices to drive improvements in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship with maintenance experience.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Mechanical/electrical bias with ONC/HNC qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective handover of information across shifts.
• Diagnose faults, test, repair and maintain equipment.
• Lead shift-based problem solving when actions are unclear.
• Observe and report defects and use CMMS data for RCA.
• Coaching of operators on asset care tasks and improvements.
• Identify life cycle issues and propose recommendations.
• Support simple 5WHY/OE techniques through to long-term fixes.
• Support 5S programmes in workshops and stores.
