Blockchain Developer

Location: Edinburgh

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Blockchain Developer to lead the design and development of a custom platform backed by tangible assets like gold and silver.

You'll play a pivotal role in a greenfield project that combines cutting-edge blockchain engineering with real-world financial infrastructure. No forks. No clones. Just original, high-performance architecture built from scratch with a focus on transparency, security, and utility.

The Role:

1. Build a new blockchain protocol from the ground up
2. Design and implement consensus mechanisms (PoS, PoA, or novel alternatives)

4. Create tools and APIs to support validators, wallets, and ecosystem developers
5. Perform code reviews and contribute to protocol optimisation and security

The Person:

1. Extensive blockchain development experience, ideally at protocol level
2. Strong coding skills in Rust, Go, or C++
3. Deep understanding of distributed systems and consensus design
4. Familiarity with cryptographic principles and secure key management
