Block Property Manager – Chingford | Permanent | Full Time

Salary: £32,000–£36,000 per year

The Role

As a Block Property Manager, you will take ownership of a compact portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring they are well managed, compliant, and maintained to the highest standard.

  • Conducting regular site inspections and producing detailed reports
  • Managing service charge budgets and monitoring expenditure
  • Coordinating risk assessments, health & safety, and compliance requirements
  • Supervising caretakers, on-site staff, and contractors
  • Handling insurance claims and liaising with relevant parties
  • Attending and chairing resident and director meetings, preparing minutes
  • Overseeing Section 20 consultations for major works
The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have proven experience within Block Property Management, with a solid understanding of leasehold management.

Essential skills and experience:

  • At least 1 year's experience in Residential Block Management
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • IT proficiency and confident use of property management software
  • A full UK driving licence and ability to travel locally
The Contract
  • Working Hours: 37 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (some flexibility)
  • Length of Contract: Permanent Contract
  • Salary: £32,000.00 to £36,000.00 per year
  • Benefits: 25 days holiday (increasing with service), pension scheme, use of pool car for site visits, and potential to work from home 1 day per week
