Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Blade Operator at our Dowty Propellers Brockworth site.

The role involves executing manual processes on either a permanent or rotating shift pattern in a production environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. Perform blade composite processes, including but not limited to composite layup, preform, foam, blade build, resin injection, and deflash.
2. Identify and implement process improvements.
3. Take responsibility for quality, environment, health, and safety issues.
4. Perform repairs as needed.

Essential Qualifications:

1. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, taking ownership and accountability for quality and EHS standards.
2. Flexibility in gaining new skills and working across different cells within the Dowty Brockworth site.
3. Personal drive and motivation to identify and implement process improvements.
4. Experience working in a flow line production environment and familiarity with materials processing.
5. Good manual dexterity.
