What you’ll be doing
The successful candidate will lead key change projects in the Transmission business, helping improve operations and customer experience during the RIIO-ED2 and RIIO-T3 periods. They will work with experts to review current processes, design better systems, assess impacts, plan changes, support teams through transitions, and build strong business cases for digital solutions.
Drive strategic change in the organisation to achieve SPEN strategic goals
Lead assigned projects to successful delivery and achievement of benefits
Build relationships and manage stakeholders throughout the organisation
Lead and coach continuous improvement to improve business results
Champion innovation & look for opportunities to improve business performance
Facilitate and role model change supporting strategic business goals
Operate with agility to adapt to changing situations & business demands quickly
Lead people side of change using Prosci Change Management framework
Identify, establish and monitor performance measures to validate success
Collaborate with business stakeholders to maintain support and buy-in
Develop Business Cases and identify key performance-tracking metrics
What you’ll bring
Previously accredited or willing to work towards certifications such as:
Knowledge and experience in a Transmission business and BIM solution are preferable.
Proven ability to implement change in a complex multi-national organisation
Able to set stretch goals & deadlines aligned with business and customer priorities
Able to empower and encourage the development of individuals and project teams
Challenge status quos and champion continuous improvement
Model professionalism and a positive mindset; being transparent, ethical, authentic, honest and operating with integrity in all interactions
Comfortable leading the conversation in subject matters outside comfort-zone

Commercial understanding or financial awareness of business would be advantageous.
Able to undertake occasional travel to other SP Energy Networks locations
As a minimum, you will demonstrate:
Experience in leading business projects & managing stakeholders in a complex business
Demonstrable evidence of planning, organising, and prioritising to deliver results on time
Use of Change Management, Agile, Lean Sigma, or other improvement methods
Leveraged resources outside of span of control, ideally within a large organisation
Degree qualified in Business, Engineering, Technical or related discipline or minimum 5yrs related business experience
