A leading independent publishing house seeks a Marketing and Sales Executive to enhance online marketing strategies and manage media representation. The role is perfect for a motivated individual aiming to further their career in publishing, ideally in their second or third position. Responsibilities include content management and liaising with key stakeholders, all within a dynamic team environment.
We're looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and well-organised Marketing and Sales Executive to join our fast-paced, busy sales and marketing department
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small team in a leading independent publishing house, publishing books on politics, current affairs, autobiography/memoir, history, espionage and sport.
The position will involve:
• Creating and implementing online marketing strategies for new and backlist titles
• Looking after our online representation and social media platforms
• Managing and creating content for our website
• Creating and distributing a monthly newsletter
• Liaising with customers and distributors to process website orders
• Providing general support to the sales, marketing and publicity teams
The successful candidate will be:
• Imaginative and self-motivated
• Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
• A team player
They will also have exceptional practical knowledge of all social media platforms, and excellent communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ideally, this is a position for someone looking for their second or third job within publishing.
