Job summary

Belong is seeking a friendly Bistro Assistant to look after customers in our village Bistro and to service guests at events in our function suites. You will deliver attentive service, prepare light meals and snacks, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety. The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings or weekends and a willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.

Casual contract with a salary of £13.45 per hour. We welcome applicants but do not sponsor overseas staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles in hospitality or catering.
• Ability to work as part of a team to deliver great service.
• Willingness to undertake DBS check and comply with health & safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Look after customers visiting the Bistro and serve guests at corporate or private events.
• Ensure excellent service and attention to customers to encourage return visits.
• Support moving & handling of loads and basic catering tasks as required.
