Leisure Services – Inspiring Members to Lead Active Lives
Are you a friendly and organised individual? If you enjoy greeting people and ensuring they have a positive experience, consider becoming a part of our team as a Birthday Party Host!
Our Birthday Hosts deliver fun, engaging and personal birthday parties for children within the leisure centres. Organising the party from set up, delivery and finish you’ll ensure the birthday child, and their guests have an unforgettable experience.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring that the party is set up correctly and ready in advance of the start time. You will be the main point of contact for parents throughout their party booking, handling queries and responding in line with established guidelines. Ensuring the safety, well-being, and security of children at all times will be a key part of your role.
We are looking for someone with excellent customer service and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently. An awareness of safeguarding policies related to children is essential. While previous experience working with children in a similar role is desirable, the ability to work weekends is a must as parties are usually delivered over weekends.
As a casual worker, you'll have no fixed hours and will work on an as-needed basis, depending on Wiltshire Council's requirements and your availability. You are not obligated to be available, and the Council is not obliged to offer you work.
