Job summary

Lime is hiring an In-Warehouse Junior Operations Associate in Birmingham to drive day-to-day warehouse operations, manage mechanics across shifts, and oversee parts, inventory and safety standards. You’ll analyze data to improve efficiency and collaborate with fleet, logistics, engineering and product teams to deliver high-quality vehicles.

The role requires hands-on, data-driven problem solving in a fast-paced environment, with the aim to scale processes for future efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional work experience in operations.
• Experience leading teams or groups is preferred.
• Fluent English (verbal and written).
• Excellent problem solving skills with a structured approach.
• Data-driven mindset with ability to analyse data to spot opportunities (SQL and Google Sheets).
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise ruthlessly.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Management: oversee day-to-day warehouse operations and staff across shifts.
• Repair & Maintenance: monitor fleet repair output and quality.
• Team Performance: set KPIs for mechanic productivity and coach as needed.
• Parts & Inventory Management: oversee parts & tools inventory and allocation.
• Safety & Compliance: enforce PPE and safety standards.
• Operational Excellence: optimise warehouse layout and workflows.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: coordinate with fleet operations, logistics, engineering, and product teams.
• Reporting & Data Use: analyse warehouse data and costs to drive improvements.
• Special Projects: lead backlog reduction and fleet refurbishment initiatives.
