Job description

A leading professional services firm is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner/Manager to join its Birmingham-based team. Reporting to the HR Director, the role will provide expert HR and employee relations support to senior stakeholders, driving a high-performance culture and managing complex ER cases.

(This is a hybrid role with some travel to other UK sites every couple of weeks).

Key Responsibilities:

Providing HR and change management advice to Partners and managers

Leading on ER and performance issues, offering commercial solutions

Supporting and developing the HR Adviser

Driving reward and recognition policies, using market data for cost-effective solutions

Project managing HR initiatives from design to implementation

Developing and implementing HR policies, coaching managers on employment legislation

Key Requirements:

CIPD-qualified HR professional with strong employee relations expertise

Proven experience handling restructures, disputes, exits, and settlement agreements

Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving

Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and develop excellent relationships across the firm

Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems

This role is ideal for an HR professional with a strong focus on employee relations, looking to make a commercial impact within a professional business environment.
