Job summary
University of Reading invites applications for a Lecturer in Biotechnology to contribute to teaching on our MSc Biotechnology, delivered in partnership with Henley Business School, and to develop an independent research program.
The appointee will strengthen our Division of Biomedical Sciences & Biomedical Engineering, build industry collaborations, and address Cancer, Cardiovascular Disease, Infection and Neurobiology while advancing translational biotech applications.
Qualifications
- PhD or DPhil in a relevant discipline.
- Track record of high-quality biotechnology research with industrial exploitation and publications or patents.
- Willingness and ability to teach effectively.
Responsibilities
- Deliver teaching on MSc Biotechnology and related programmes.
- Develop and lead an independent research programme at Reading.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering and Henley Business School.
