Biotechnologist 1 (DSP Night Shift)

Location: Slough

Night Shift 6pm - 6am Rotating 4 day shift

As a Biotechnologist 1 (DSP Night Shift) at Lonza AG, you will embark on an exceptionally rewarding journey within our Manufacturing team. This entry-level position is designed to provide hands-on experience in a GMP Manufacturing environment, transitioning from supervised to unsupervised activities. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the flawless production of life-changing products at our Slough, UK facility.

Key responsibilities:

• Implement tasks to ensure products are manufactured according to schedule, safety requirements, and GMP standards.
• Develop a detailed understanding of production systems and relevant Lonza systems to enable efficient manufacturing. Complete all necessary training for production activities.
• Follow high standards of cGMP for yourself and colleagues, and familiarize yourself with Lonza's quality procedures, including change control, deviation systems, and validation procedures.
• Assist in data management activities, ensuring documentation standards are maintained.
• Participate directly in manufacturing, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and contribute to various projects.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, safety policies, and team values. Report safety issues and promote a safety-first culture. Meet objectives within designated timeframes.
