Job summary

OXB in Oxford is recruiting a Project/Programme Manager to join the Commercial team on a 2-month fixed-term contract. You will manage the relationship between OXB and its clients and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality to enable long-term alliances.

The ideal candidate has a scientific degree or PhD, a PM qualification, and demonstrable experience using MS Project and MS Excel, with budget ownership in pharma/biotech and experience delivering

Qualifications

• Scientific degree or PhD with pharma/biotech exposure.
• Project management qualification preferred.
• Experience using project management tools and techniques.
• Budget ownership and external client deliverables experience.
• Familiarity with MS Project and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client/partner satisfaction to build long-term alliances.
• Understand client needs and identify ongoing project opportunities.
• Ensure projects meet scope, timeline and budget milestones.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation actions.
• Provide updates and performance data to management.
• Manage all financial aspects including forecasting and invoicing.
• Define scope, costings, and timelines for new work packages.
• Assist with proposals and support contract negotiations.
