Job summary

The MRC Biostatistics Unit at the University of Cambridge invites applications for a Research Associate (Fixed Term). The post combines applied statistics (60%) and methodological work (40%) within two trial collaborations, focusing on design, monitoring and analysis of biomedical studies.

You will work with the Papworth trial unit researchers and with Dr Pavel Mozgunov on response-adaptive early-phase dose-finding trials, contributing to innovative statistical methods and robust dissemination

Qualifications

• PhD in biostatistics, epidemiology, or closely related field.
• Experience in design, monitoring and analysis of clinical studies.
• Strong modelling skills and ability to collaborate with researchers.

Responsibilities

• Provide statistical advice and guidance to Papworth trial unit researchers.
• Contribute to developing response-adaptive dose-finding methods for early-phase trials.
