Job summary

University of Lancashire invites applications for a two-year fixed-term role in Medical Sciences and Biosciences. You will teach Foundation Year through Level 6, contribute to assessment, and lead modules while developing curricula. The role spans Burnley and Preston campuses and requires broad bioscience expertise.

You will support student development, participate in scholarly activity, and contribute to the wider academic life of the School. A PhD in bioscience is expected.

Qualifications

• This role requires broad bioscience expertise and the ability to teach across pharmacology, microbiology, molecular biology and cell biology.
• You will contribute to BSc Medical Sciences and Foundation Year at Burnley, and to related courses at Preston.
• You will work across Burnley and Preston campuses and support curriculum coherence and student progression.

Responsibilities

• Teach across Foundation Year to Level 6 and contribute to assessment and feedback.
• Lead modules and develop curricula in line with bioscience provision.
• Support student development and enhance the student experience.
• Collaborate with course teams across Burnley and Preston campuses.
• Participate in wider academic life of the School.
