Job summary

Malvern Panalytical in Malvern, UK, seeks an Applications Specialist to support biophysical and nanoparticle characterization technologies, including ITC, DSC, Zetasizer Advance, Creoptix WAVE, and NanoSight Pro.

You will deliver demos, provide training and applications support, perform SOP-based measurements, and collaborate with global teams to generate data for training and marketing. A hands-on scientist with good communication will thrive.

Qualifications

• Hands-on laboratory experience with proteins, biomolecules, or nanoparticles.
• Customer-focused mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Biochemistry/Biophysics/Biology or Chemistry; PhD welcome.
• Interest in biophysical and nanoparticle characterization across platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instrument demonstrations, pre-sales analyses, and proof-of-concept measurements.
• Provide customer training, applications support, and troubleshooting across ITC/DSC, Zetasizer Advance, Creoptix WAVE, and NanoSight Pro.
• Perform laboratory measurements in accordance with SOPs and contribute to method development.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Customer Support, Marketing, and global Applications community.
• Generate application data and insights to support documentation and marketing materials.
