Job summary

Malvern Panalytical seeks an enthusiastic Applications Specialist to support Malvern Panalytical’s biophysical and nanoparticle characterization technologies. You will work closely with customers, Sales and internal teams to deliver high‑quality applications support and help customers achieve success with our solutions.

This role offers hands‑on science exposure, collaboration with global teams, and ongoing learning opportunities within a dynamic technical environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Biology, or Chemistry (PhD welcome)
• Hands-on laboratory experience with proteins, biomolecules or nanoparticles
• Interest in biophysical and nanoparticle characterization techniques
• Experience with ITC/DSC, GCI/SPR, NTA, Zetasizer is desirable
• Experience delivering customer support, demos or technical training advantageous

Responsibilities

• Deliver instrument demonstrations, pre-sales sample analysis and proofs-of-concept
• Provide customer training, applications support and troubleshooting across ITC/DSC, Zetasizer Advance, Creoptix WAVE and NanoSight Pro
• Perform laboratory measurements per SOPs and contribute to method development
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Customer Support, Marketing and global Applications community
• Generate data and insights to support documentation, training materials and marketing activities
