Job summary

iProov is seeking an iSOC Engineer in London (Hybrid) to combine data analytics with threat intelligence and monitor alerts from production traffic. You will work with incident response teams and cross-functional groups to identify and mitigate biometric threats.

The role requires Python, SQL/BigQuery, Bash, and a STEM background, with exposure to BI tools like Looker or Tableau considered a plus. Competitive package includes base, performance bonus, shares, and UK benefits.

Qualifications

• STEM background required.
• Experience with data analytics and threat intelligence.
• Proficient in Python and SQL-based data analysis.
• Experience with Linux command line and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with Looker/Tableau or similar BI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor biometric imagery from production traffic and detect fraudulent patterns.
• Escalate validated imagery alerts to incident response teams.
• Fine-tune alerting rules to reduce false positives/negatives.
• Collect global threat intelligence and internal threats for action.
• Conduct threat hunting for novel biometric attacks.
• Produce actionable threat intelligence reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Red Team and Advanced Threats teams to improve defenses.
• Understand logs from various bespoke sources.
