A leading healthcare provider in Bradford is looking for a Section Manager to oversee Haematology/Blood Transfusion. This role is essential for operational organization, quality management, and technical guidance within the laboratory. The ideal candidate will possess a Biomedical Science degree, HCPC registration, and significant experience in a Haematology lab. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an innovative laboratory as a key person who will work alongside laboratory based Biomedical Scientists, advanced Biomedical Scientists, Consultant Haematologist, Clinical Directors and Pathology Service Managers to drive improvements to service. Applications are invited for the position of Section Manager overseeing Haematology/Blood Transfusion. The post is primarily based at Bradford Royal Infirmary Pathology Department, but applicants will be required to work at any of the IPS laboratories as required. The section manager will take a lead role within the department and hold responsibility for operational organisation of both departments. The post holder will be expected to work alongside colleagues within IPS to ensure common processes and procedures.
