An opportunity has arisen within the Department of Clinical Chemistry for an enthusiastic, highly motivated HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist to join the team.
The department is situated in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art laboratory and provides routine biochemistry testing to inpatients, outpatients, and GP surgeries in the Mansfield & Ashfield and Newark & Sherwood areas. The laboratory is equipped with Roche Cobas Chemistry/Immunoassay analyzers and pre/post analytics. After an initial period of training, you will be expected to participate in the department’s 24/7 shift system. Flexible working is required, including weekend and bank holiday rotas, once trained.
