Job summary

Pulse is seeking a Biomedical Scientist (Histology) to join a private London-based histopathology laboratory on a locum basis. The role focuses on routine microtomy, embedding and staining, with emphasis on slide quality and timely turnaround within a busy lab environment.

HCPC registration is required; experience in Histology or Cellular Pathology and knowledge of routine histology techniques are essential. The assignment runs 3–6 months, with a £30+ hourly rate in a private setting.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as Biomedical Scientist.
• Experience in Histology/Cellular Pathology.
• Strong practical experience in microtomy.
• Experience of routine histopathology techniques.
• Knowledge of special stains and IHC is desirable.
