Are you ready to take the next step in your career within a busy, friendly, and supportive Blood Sciences department? We’re looking for a passionate HCPC State Registered Biomedical Scientist to join our Clinical Biochemistry team and make a real impact.
Starting your training at our Bedford site, you’ll soon have the opportunity to work across both Bedfordshire Hospital Laboratory locations, adapting to service needs and participating in a 24/7 shift pattern once fully trained. This role offers a dynamic and varied environment where no two days are the same!

As a HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist You Will
Be responsible for conducting the day to day operations and technical aspects within Biochemistry in accordance with established protocols and standards.
Support the departmental laboratory seniors in the delivery of a high quality, efficient and effective service.
Be required to work across both our Luton and Bedford sites and once fully trained participate in the 24/7 shift rota.
Assist in delivering of training in accordance with the departmental training policy.
Be accountable for own professional actions.
