Biomedical Scientist - Blood Sciences

Brentwood Hospital | Pathology | Permanent | Full time

Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus on-call benefits
37.5 hours per week

As a Biomedical Scientist at Brentwood Hospital, you’ll have relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You should have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment and techniques. You are a natural communicator and team player, sharing our commitment to quality.

As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality pathology services.
  • Participate in out-of-hours on-call service.
  • Perform diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting, and quality control.
  • Maintain records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables.
  • Support validation and assessment of new equipment and procedures.
  • Help ensure the best experience for patients.
