IBMS Specialist Diploma in Cellular Pathology

Job description

The successful applicant will be HCPC registered, have the IBMS Specialist Diploma in Cellular Pathology, or possess several years of broad experience in current laboratory practice, including specialist histology techniques such as immunohistochemistry and specimen dissection.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Participate in the delivery of a medical laboratory service to ensure efficient and effective patient care and resource management within the Trust.
  2. Assist in the day-to-day organisation, maintenance of workflow, and specific responsibilities related to designated sections.
  3. Contribute to the teaching and development of staff within their section.
  4. Maintain high standards and quality in all work.
  5. Keep up-to-date with specialist area knowledge and current working practices within the diagnostic laboratory.
  6. Work at both sites as required.
