About the role:

We seek a full-time, experienced HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist for a one-year fixed-term contract. Responsibilities include delivering a high-quality laboratory service, maintaining quality management systems and UKAS accreditation, training staff, validating results, and ensuring excellent patient service. The role involves full participation in a 24/7 shift pattern with enhanced pay for unsocial hours.

Personal specifications:

• Biomedical Science BSc degree or equivalent
• Registration with HCPC
• Willingness to participate in out-of-hours service
• Evidence of CPD

The laboratory services the Biochemistry and Serology needs of the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. We are UKAS accredited and a recognized HCPC/IBMS training laboratory.
