Job summary

The Pathology Partnership invites applications to join the team in a busy laboratory setting, contributing to microbiology services across the SYB network and supporting diagnostic testing for inpatients, outpatients and GPs. Qualifications

• Assists in performing healthcare science activities under supervision.
• Maintains high scientific and technical standards.
• Inputs/queries test results and maintains clinical records.

Responsibilities

• Pre-analytical processing of samples including receipt, preparation and processing.
• Store, retrieve, and dispose of biological material according to procedures.
• Handle queries from Medical and Nursing staff and other users and take action as needed.
• Promote and maintain education and training standards within the team.
