Job summary

Notpla is seeking an Extrusion Engineer to help scale breakthrough natural material technologies for sustainable packaging. You’ll work at the intersection of material science and industrial extrusion, moving concept-stage innovations towards commercially viable solutions with a diverse partner consortium.

You’ll join an office-first hybrid team, collaborating with material scientists, designers and business developers to drive R&D within a large Horizon project and potentially across multiple

Qualifications

• Experience in process engineering with extrusion manufacturing
• Ability to design and analyse extrusion trials
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Data analysis and documentation proficiency

Responsibilities

• Drive natural material development projects from early trials to scalable packaging solutions.
• Design, execute and analyse extrusion trials with internal and external partners.
• Prioritise and plan extrusion trials with different product groups.
• Troubleshoot process challenges using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
