Job summary

Arla Foods is seeking a Biomass Operations & Maintenance Technician to operate and monitor our biomass plant at Felinfach. You will work 12-hour shifts, days only, maintaining critical equipment to support energy needs and sustainability goals.

You will bring hands-on maintenance experience, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work independently and with a team. Electrical maintenance background and an HNC or equivalent credential are advantageous, with apprentices welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in processing environments.
• Electrical maintenance background desirable; fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the biomass plant safely and efficiently.
• Carry out routine inspections, fault finding, and first-line maintenance.
• Support breakdown responses, commissioning, and plant improvement projects.
• Collaborate with operational teams, contractors and suppliers on safety and maintenance.
• Champion health and safety and environmental performance.
