Job summary

Seras UK is seeking diligent machine operatives in Pollington to support the UK's leading biomass fuel supplier. You will work 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday, performing safe machine operation and assisting in daily production KPIs to contribute to renewable energy goals.

Joining a fast-growing team with long‑term contracts, you will help power Energy Recovery Facilities and ensure environmental and quality standards are met while receiving benefits such as PPE, health schemes, and

Qualifications

• Computer literacy for daily operational tasks and documentation.
• First aid trained to respond to incidents on site.
• CITB certification and loading shovel qualifications are preferred for safe material handling.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment by promptly reporting all accidents and near misses.
• Adhere to environmental sustainability and product quality standards.
• Collaborate with team to achieve daily production KPIs.
• Safely operate driving machinery after training and authorization.
• Ensure site traffic management for safe operations.
• Provide training and support to colleagues in operational areas.
• Maintain product quality to meet customer specs.
• Conduct daily machinery inspections for readiness and safety.
• Load vehicles accurately and safely following procedures.
