About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Biology Technician to support a thriving Science department starting September 2025. You'll work closely with teachers and students to ensure the smooth and safe running of the Biology labs, creating an environment where practical science comes to life.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience in a school lab or similar science-based environment is preferred

  • Clean and store equipment after use
  • Maintain safe working conditions in the lab
  • Dispose of hazardous materials in line with regulations
  • Assist in classroom demonstrations
  • Assist in keeping student work spaces clean and safe
  • Prepare lesson-specific displays or models
  • Attend department and training meetings as required
  • Support teachers during practical sessions when necessary
  • Maintain records of risk assessments and experiments
