About the Role:

  • Teach Biology across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and interest.

  • Use diverse teaching methods and resources, including experiments, demonstrations, fieldwork, and technology.
  • Assess student progress, set targets, and provide feedback to support learning.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and resource creation to keep Biology teaching relevant and challenging.
  • Foster a love of Biology, encouraging exploration of the natural world and scientific understanding.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development to enhance teaching practice and stay updated in Biology education.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS or equivalent.
  • Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Biology.
  • Demonstrates passion for teaching Biology and commitment to student success.
