Job Description:

Wayman Group is seeking a dynamic Biology Teacher to join the team at a fantastic school in Barnet. This full-time position will commence in September, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is committed to providing an exceptional education to students. As a Biology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students in the fascinating world of biology, helping them develop a deep understanding of scientific concepts and practical skills. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons, conducting experiments and practical demonstrations, and assessing student learning progress. Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Biology lessons that inspire and challenge students
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and development
• Assess and provide feedback on student progress and achievement
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the school's Biology program and initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance

Requirements

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Specialization in Biology or a related subject
• Prior experience teaching Biology, preferably at the secondary level
• Passion for Biology and a commitment to student success
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Continual professional development to stay current with advances in Biology education
