We are a vibrant mixed school in Ealing seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Science Teacher specializing in Biology for a part-time, permanent position. About the Role:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, focusing on Biology.
  • Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that include practical investigations, dissections (ethically considered), data analysis, and discussions of current biological issues.
  • Assess student progress through lab reports, presentations, and assessments, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives to promote a love of science.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Science with a strong background in Biology.
  • Good understanding of the secondary science curriculum and effective teaching strategies for Biology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to explain complex concepts engagingly.
  • Strong practical skills in laboratory work, including safe execution of biological experiments.
