Permanent Teacher of KS5 Biology - Outstanding Inner London School (Biology Department)

An outstanding inner London school is seeking a passionate and expert Permanent Teacher of KS5 Biology to join our high-achieving Biology Department. You will inspire our Sixth Form students to achieve excellence in A-Level Biology and cultivate a deep appreciation for the intricacies of the living world through scientific inquiry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and rigorous Biology lessons primarily to A-Level students.
  • Foster a deep and critical understanding of advanced biological concepts, theories, and practical skills.
  • Contribute to the development and enrichment of the A-Level Biology curriculum within the Biology Department.
  • Assess and monitor student progress at A-Level, providing expert guidance and support for their academic success and progression to higher education in biological sciences and related fields.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Biology Department, sharing best practices in A-Level Biology teaching and assessment.
