Aspire People is recruiting Biology specialists for secondary schools across Birmingham and Solihull, with opportunities available from Monday 2 November and throughout the remainder of the academic year.

We work with secondary schools requiring confident Science specialists who can deliver engaging lessons, maintain high expectations and support pupils in developing their scientific knowledge.

WHAT OPPORTUNITIES ARE AVAILABLE?

Our recruitment covers daily supply, short-term cover, regular weekly bookings and long-term Biology teaching assignments, alongside potential permanent positions.

Depending on your experience and the school's requirements, you may be teaching general Science across KS3, GCSE Biology and Combined Science at KS4, or A Level Biology at KS5.

Long-term opportunities may involve lesson planning, marking, assessment, practical investigations and supporting pupils with GCSE and A Level examination preparation.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You will need QTS or QTLS, strong Biology subject knowledge and the ability to deliver effective lessons across the secondary curriculum.

Good classroom management, clear communication and the ability to adapt teaching to pupils of different abilities are essential.

We welcome applications from experienced Biology Teachers and Early Career Teachers, particularly those confident teaching both their specialist subject and general Science.
