GSL Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to join a school in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.

Job Summary: The Biology Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality biology education to students, fostering their creativity. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality biology instruction to students at various levels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging biology lessons that meet the curriculum standards.
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
3. Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
5. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Degree in Biology or a related field.
3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for biology.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
6. Previous teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
