Overview

KS3 & KS4 Science / Biology Teacher – Secondary School in Camden – ASAP start.

Veritas Education are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Biology Teacher on behalf of a secondary school partner based in Camden, North West London. This is starting ASAP in a GOOD rated school where staff and pupils work collaboratively to create an inclusive learning environment for all.

Responsibilities

• Plan and mark lessons with differentiation to meet the varying needs of students.
• Deliver Biology across Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Collaborate with a science department team that includes experienced and newly qualified teachers; utilise support from three technicians for practical work.

Qualifications

• Full UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching Biology at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Strong subject knowledge of the Science curriculum.
• Experience with planning lessons and marking.
• Strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management.
• Enthusiastic and passionate attitude to teaching.
